  1. That is a lot of books for the month. And a good mix, as usual.

I am glad that you gave one of the Nero Wolfe books a try. Fer-de-Lance is my favorite book in the series, but there are readers who don't care for it so much.

I hope that someday I can read more Daphne de Maurier. I only remember reading Rebecca, although I could have read a few more and forgotten them. I have forgotten which books I read in my youth.

  2. A good reading month, Constance. I read Fer-de-Lance several years ago and while I liked it, I wasn't smitten and haven't read any more. I've read quite a lot of Daphne Du Maurier and, given her love of Cornwall, I really should try to read a biography. I've read Myself When Young but it only goes up to a certain age and it might be interesting to read about her life from another point of view. Although I did read one blog post years ago where someone who did said they wished they hadn't as they ended up not liking her very much. I was curious as to why but never did anything about it.

  3. You had a great reading month. I try to review each book right after I read it. Right now I have three books sitting next to me that I need to review...if only I'd reviewed each one right after I finished it.

  5. I have to pick up Rubbernecker from the library on Monday, so I'm looking forward to that. You did have a good reading month.
