I have seen the musical and it made me cry from beginning to end. The best musical I've ever seen, and when she writes about 9/11 I started to cry again! If it wasn't for that, I don't think I would have given it as high a rating as I did, to be honest. I'm not sure if the WWII parts were as strong for me as they were for you. In fact, I think they really were weaker than the contemporary parts - but we can agree to disagree about that.
