Immediately devoured the rest of this series, followed by everything else this author has published.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013114232214923198.post-26678887093081066242022-08-29T16:10:26.852-04:002022-08-29T16:10:26.852-04:00One of the first I read was a gender reversal - Li...One of the first I read was a gender reversal - Lions and Liquorice by Kate Fenton, also published as Vanity and Vexation. I went to a lot of trouble and expense to acquire all her books but this was definitely the best one.

http://www.katefenton.com/lionsandliquorice.htmCLMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03595294217111602231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013114232214923198.post-77412865595375237772022-08-29T15:03:27.796-04:002022-08-29T15:03:27.796-04:00There is a lot of Jane Austen inspired fiction out...There is a lot of Jane Austen inspired fiction out there; and some is wonderful, and some not so much. What fun! I shall look into this and add it to my ever growing list of Austen inspired novels. I've just started A Truth Universally Acknowledged: 33 Reasons Why We Can't Stop Reading Austen by Susannah Carson, its quite dense so I think it will take me a while. And I enjoyed Pride and Prescience a P&P inspired crime novel by Carrie Bebris. Cathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371069000185280668noreply@blogger.com
