An Unexpected Gift

How nice to return from nearly a week in DC to find a present from my dear friend Karen Caswell!

The perfect thing for a book lover: a tote bag designed of famous first lines!   How many famous first lines do you know?  Try this quiz from Buzzfeed - it's hard: I only got 8 of 17!

Quiz Time

Heyer fans, someone forwarded me this Georgette Heyer quiz - and even I who have read all of her books several times each managed to miss a question! Can you do better?

And what is your favorite Heyer? Mine are Devil's Cub, The Grand Sophy, Frederica, and Venetia. I am so pleased that Sourcebooks is reissuing them with lovely new covers (although there is no room for any more duplicates on my shelves).

Which Austen heroine are you?

Take the Quiz here!

I have seen other Austen quizzes but I like these questions the best!

(with thanks to another Elswyth Thane fan)
