My Life in Books - 2022

I borrowed this meme from AnnaBookbel, but I have done a few similar versions in the past.

Using only books you read in 2022, answer these prompts. Try not to repeat a book title (links in the titles will take you to my reviews where they exist).

In high school, I was: The Woman in the Library (Sulari Gentill)
People might be surprised by: A Winter Memory (Lulu Taylor)

I will never be: Born Behind Bars (Padma Venkatraman)

My life post-lockdown was: The Locked Room (Elly Griffiths)

My fantasy job is: The Glass Blowers (Daphne du Maurier)

At the end of a long day, I need: Which Way is Home (Maria Kiely)

I hate being: Hellbent (Gregg Hurwitz)

Wish I had: The Maid (Nita Prose)

My family reunions are: All Her Little Secrets (Wanda Morris)

At a party, you’d find me with: The Ghost of Opalina (Peggy Bacon)

I’ve never been to: The Mountains Wild (Sarah Stewart Taylor)

A happy day includes: Visions (Kelley Armstrong)

Motto I live by: Wish You Were Here (Jodi Picoult)

On my bucket list is: The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet (Eleanor Cameron)
In my next life, I want to have: Something Wilder (Christina Lauren)

I have not completely moved on to 2023 - stay tuned!

Good answers! I love doing this every year and finding silly answers. Some of them turn out to be surprisingly appropriate!

This was entertaining. It's fun to fantasize - your bucket list journey was to the mushroom planet, mine was with the Dawn Treader.

That is a very good list. I like the last two especially.

What fun! I did something similar a few years ago, and it was a blast. I was also the woman in the library in high school! I really truly wish I know how to blow glass--such a fascinating art/craft/skill.

Happy reading and fitting your book titles to life!
